Elspeth Katharine Rae[1] (Born 1984 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England) is a young British actress who is best known for her part as Alex Moss in the CBBC/BBC sitcom Kerching!.

Elspeth Rae began acting at a young age and then got her first professional job working with the BBC, when she was 14. She is a classically trained singer.

Rae's other roles include Rosie Percy on NCS Manhunt, Olivia on My Hero, the Princess in Alistair McGown's Big Impressions and Mya Campbell in "Casualty". She also appeared in the 2005 film Connecting. She is on various adverts and voiceover, and is heard by millions as the voice of GCSE Bitesize French, English and exam preparation techniques!
