Elsa Klensch

Elsa Klensch was the producer and host of Style with Elsa Klensch, CNN's fashion and design television program, which ran from 1980 to 2000. She appeared as herself in Robert Altman's Prêt-à-Porter (1994).
She has written a murder mystery novel, Live at 10:00, Dead at 10:15, which is centered on the fashion industry.

Born in Western Australia, she worked as an editor at Women's Wear Daily, Vogue, W and Harper's Bazaar before joining CNN on its 1980 launch. She has received awards for her coverage from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the Fashion Group International and the Anti-Defamation League. The Italian government presented her with the Order of Merit for her reporting on Italian fashion and design.[1]
