I have been using Wikipedia for a while now for general Encyclopedic type information. This summer (MAY-JUN 2006) I am going on a European Staff Ride through Sicily (Operation HUSKY) and Normandy (Operation OVERLORD) and I started my research at this site. Upon my extensive readings from outside sources I have decided to add to the pages herein to reflect the knowledge I gathered from these sources.

My Major Sources are: 1. Bradley A Soldier Story: GEN Omar Bradley 2. The Fighting First: Flint Whitlock 3. D-Day: Stephen E. Ambrose 4. Sicily and the Surrender of Italy, U.S. Army in World War II Green Book Series, Mediterranean Theater of Operaions: Albert N. Garland and Howard McGaw Smyth 5. Bitter Victory, The Battle For Sicily: Carlo D'Este 6. From Omaha Beach to Dawson's Ridge, The Combat Journal of CPT Joe Dawson: Cole C. Kingseed
