Talk:Elodea
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I had the chance to learn about Elodea in an environmental science class, and I do not believe that this article does justic to the havoc the plant can wreak on environments. For example, I believe it was proven that an Elodea sample thrown out of a museum in France is what is causing the rapid Elodea colonization of the sea floor in the Mediterranean.
Perhaps this article can be reworked so that more is put in about it.
Also, as another note, there was a comment about a picture in this article. I removed it. I also fear this article may have been copied from another site entirely, hence the unedited picture comment. --Mr Bound 00:46, Oct 14, 2004 (UTC)
Breaking the article up into a section about the general ecology of the genera, and a section about Elodea as an invasive species would be good --nixie 01:20, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
