Elmwood School is an independent day school for girls in Ottawa, Canada. The faculty provides education to over 400 students, ages 5 to 18. Classes are small, averaging fewer than 20 students to every teacher. The school was established in 1915 and recently celebrated its 90th anniversary.

Elmwood is in the International Baccalaureate Program. As of 2005, Elmwood was expected to become the first Canandian school to offer the International Baccalaureate curriculum at all grade levels. It is also one of about 50 Round Square schools in Canada, dedicated to wholistic education.[1]

Elmwood is twinned with St. Charles High School; Seboche, Lesotho. This twinning is helped by the organization Help Lesotho.
