Elmo, Texas

Elmo is an unincorporated community located on U.S. Highway 80 in Kaufman County, Texas (USA). The area was first settled in the 1870s, and its population peaked at approximately 900 in the 1880s. In 2000, Elmo had ninety residents and six businesses.
