Elmer the Boil Kid is a character from The Fairly OddParents, once aptly described as one of Timmy Turner's "backup friends," along with Sanjay. He once introduces his large, ugly boil as being named "Bob;" in another episode where Timmy can hear people's minds, he hears the boil speaking in a voice that is sounds like the stereotypical supervillain (also notable is its desire to take over the world). He is a member of their school's Future Phlegmers of the World club. He is a stereotypical nerd. His superhero parody in The Big Superhero Wish is Bouncing Boil (a parody of Bouncing Boy). He is first introduced in A Wish Too Far.

The Boil named "Bob" is thought to be named after Bob Boyle, a member of the crew of the show.

Bob's one main desire is to take over the world, like most villains on the show. He has so far made no actual attempt to do this, but we can hear him throughout many episodes, whispering to Elmer about his plans. Elmer tries to resist the boil controlling his thoughts and always runs away when Bob tries to control his mind. Bob obviously has something against Timmy ("Now is the perfect opportunity; take him out now!")

Bob was once portrayed as Elmer's "best friend." "Can my boil have a hat, too?" "Hey, dweebs, the boil doesn't like to be touched!" Elmer at first loved his boil friend, but when he met Timmy, AJ, and Chester, he apparently lost interest in Bob (Perhaps this is why Bob despises Timmy?). Bob even gave Elmer his superpower in the episode "The Big Super Hero Wish", although this 'power' consisted of allowing him to bounce around the place on the boil. Although it is uncomfirmed, he may have had fairies because of his boil because it was mentioned that Timmy would have to have a big fat boil of a face.
