[edit] From Beyond

Hi Ellol,

I see you've read From Beyond (the Strugatsky novella). I'd write an article on it, because I've just read it in Hungarian, however, my version (e-text) doesn't have the Russian title and I'm not at home (and will not be for another month or so) so I can't check the original print version of the compilation it was published in. So before I make the article, I just want to make sure I'm doing the right one. It's about a guy who gets abducted by aliens, written from 3 different perspectives, right? prezzey 01:06, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Hmmm that sounds pretty cool. Ive only followed ur page because u have visited Vladimir Putin article and gave comments there. Thought may be the dude obduced was Putin and the aliens were FSB :) - .

No :) it was written decades and decades ago. In general, Strugatsky are the best interesting of Russian sci-fi at all. Alas translations of their books into english are pretty weak. ellol 23:05, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi Ellol, I looked this fragment from Strugatsky. I like science fiction. But this is really not a science fiction. This is depressing. No fun. Fortunately, I am in a very different place at the moment.Biophys 04:33, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ellol please endorse my request for comment on Biophys

[edit] Protest

There is no guarantee that any resolution (accepted well after the culmination of the rally) represents all the opinions well, so it is perfectly fine to have slogans summarized. Besides, the resolution certainly goes against Putin and Matviyenko's policies (e.g. the legislation on governors has been proposed and signed by Putin, Matviyenko has been proposed by Putin etc), so there were no inaccuracy in The Washington Post. As to the protest "against antination policy of authorities", it was about the march in Moscow. If you strive for accuracy, why have you inserted this?

BTW, as to (Russian), they distort layout awfully and appear somewhere in the middle of the article if the window is not fully open. Colchicum 00:13, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
