Elliot Minor (formerly The Academy) is a pop/rock band with classical infulences from York in England. Their first single 'Parallel Worlds' is due in stores on April 9th. It's already been playlisted on major channels such as Kerrang! TV, MTV2, The Box and The Hits. They cite their influences as being Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, The All-American Rejects, Queen and The Beach Boys among many others. According to the band's Myspace they also blend classical music into their sound. Elliot Minor will be releasing their first single on the 9th April. Dan, the bands Drummer is to marry in the near future. Every Monday, they post a Webisode of themselves recording their new album in LA on their MySpace page and on Youtube.
