Ellen Roosevelt

Ellen Crosby Roosevelt (born August, 1868, Hyde Park, New York, United States – died September 26, 1954) was a female tennis player from the United States. She is best known for her victory at the 1890 U.S. Championships in both the singles and doubles tournament (doubles with her sister Grace Roosevelt).

She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1975.

Ellen Roosevelt was a first cousin of the 32nd President of the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
