Nice job with Hartford neighborhoods
Hi Elipongo,
I noticed you created Neighborhoods of Hartford, Connecticut, which looks good and nicely shortens the Hartford article. For the amount of material you have on each neighborhood, I think you made just the right move. You may want to take a look at the Stamford neighborhoods articles, which are separate articles connected with a template at the bottom, which was appropriate I think for the amount of information presented. Springdale, Connecticut is one of them. Again, great job. Best, Noroton 17:21, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Edit on Morgan Stanley page.
I wrote: Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse were principal underwriters of the the $1.9 billion auction of Google IPO in 2004. Deal is the largest Internet IPO to date. you removed that an in comments you tell me "Largest IPO to date is Industrial & Commercial Bank of China who raised $19 billion last April" I put down that this is the largest internet IPO to date.. and would like to revert it back to what I had if you have no objections.

- My apologies! I missed the word "Internet" in the phrase when I first viewed it. I have restored it and added a relevant citation to back it up. If I may, I'd like to suggest that you should include citations for your edits— not only will it prevent honest errors like mine, it makes for a better encyclopedia. Have a great day! --Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 17:06, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Re: Reverts
I'm sorry about that warning and reverts. I tend to (sometimes) revert edits only if they just look like vandalism. I should be mroe careful. Thanks for the note.

OK, I'll add summaries. I'm just going so fast I don't have time!
But I don't understand — triple digit watchlist? What do you mean? What list is increasing just because I'm updating? /Timneu22 00:58, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Reply to your reply - ok, that makes alot of sense. /Timneu22 01:08, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok, found the link but i don't know how to make it a reference. Any help? Billywhack 03:44, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Not a problem. Give me the URL and I'll do it for you, if you like. Alternatively, you can follow the instructions at WP:FOOT and use the citation templates. Thanks for your understanding! —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 03:46, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

- Nevermind, figured it out. I actually feel like I accomplished something! I'm sorry if I offended you with the Nazi reference. It's quite a common expression, like gyp, but I can see how they both can be offensive. Billywhack 04:07, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

- Excellent! I figured you'd enjoy doing it yourself rather than having someone do it for you, yet more of the magic of the wiki! As for the use of the word Nazi, I don't get offended as such; more like acutely annoyed at the irony of labeling a Jew as a Nazi (though there were in fact Jewish members of the Nazi party, believe it or not!) It does bother me, though, that the word Nazi has been so watered down that it can be used for any mildly negative connotation (e.g. The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld), that's a bit of a demotion from genocide of Jews, Romani, Gays, Handicapped, etc. But I guess there's really no fighting the vagaries of language, is there? On that note, there isn't a clear connection between Gypsies and the word gyp, check out this site. Thanks for working to make the encyclopedia better! —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 04:27, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

- The only reason I bring up the gyp thing is I had a Romany teacher FLIP OUT on me sophomore year of high school. Have a good day! Billywhack 04:44, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
