Where does this come from? Are the rights "clean"? Given that it is so far from usual Wikipedia style, I am wondering whether it is original work. - Jmabel | Talk 19:13, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Some of the details and dates are taken from the Thiebaud book which I quote as a source, and that book itself uses an extended bibiliography. But this work is in French, and I have not attempted a translation, nor have I copied sentences from the work, but rather used the information in it, along with my research at our local university library, to create a summary in my own words of the woman's importance in Napoleonic studies. There is also the historical drama by Abel Gance, while not reliable for historical exactititude, does do a good job dramatizing the event of discovery. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Npzinos (talk • contribs) 1 December 2006.
