Elizabeth Willis

Elizabeth Willis is an American poet and the author of several books of poetry, including Meteoric Flowers (Wesleyan, 2006), Turneresque (Burning Deck, 2003), and The Human Abstract (Penguin Books, 1995), which was selected for the National Poetry Series. She is currently (2006) editing a collection of essays on Lorine Niedecker and teaches at Wesleyan University. She lives in central Massachusetts and is married to the poet Peter Gizzi.
