Elizabeth Island (Victoria)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Elizabeth Island lies just south of French Island in Western Port Bay (Victoria) separated from it by inter-tidal mudflats. Access is by boat at high tide at the southern end.

A private island historically of little value, used primarily to graze sheep in warmer seasons. In recent years has been converted into a holiday retreat with the establishment of housing facilities.
