Elisabeth Rose

Elisabeth Rose (born 1963) is the author of the novel Body Sharers (1993) and the memoir For The Love of a Dog (2001).

Body Sharers is a novel about a teenage prostitute named Cammie who goes to live with the uncle who first molested her as a toddler. Upon her arrival, her disturbed uncle begins to see a large ghostly dog climbing the staircase after Cammie goes to sleep.

For the Love of a Dog is Rose's memoir about her experience with animals while she was growing up in several different countries and the argument over whether or not animals have souls.
