Eliminator is the eighth studio album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 1983 (see 1983 in music). It was arguably the band's most successful album. The album is a successful blend of blues rock and analog synthesizers. In 1989, it was ranked #39 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest albums of the 1980s. In 2003, the album was ranked number 396 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Hardcore band Black Flag cited this album as one of their favorites.
