Eliecer Ramos Castillo, born October 25, 1970 in Havana, Cuba, is a Cuban boxer in the heavyweight division.

Southpaw Castillo turned pro in 1996 and took a big step in 1998 and took on Chris Byrd, being outboxed over 10 round. In 2000 he drew with Alexander Zolkin and won a decision over Paea Wolfgramm, but in 2001 he was outpointed by an over 40-year old Tim Witherspoon. This is his problem. He has a good punch, an impervious chin but can be outhustled.

In 2002 he scored a big upset over undefeated prospect Andre Purlette via a 5th round KO. Since the big win, he's had varying success against big name opposition. In 2002 he was outpointed by Charles Shufford, but had a big 2003, beating Lawrence Clay Bey by one-punch knockout and Corey Sanders in a rare decision win.

In 2004 he KO'd old cruiser Uriah Grant in the 1st, leading to Grant's retirement. He was unable to build on the momentum losing to contender DaVarryl Williamson in a close decision. After that even Kendrick Releford (record 10-4-1) beat him.
