Eliahu Ben Elissar

Eliahu Ben Elissar (Hebrew: אליהו בן אלישר‎) (August 2, 1932August 12, 2000) was an Israeli politician and diplomat.

He was a Likud member of the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th Knesset.

From 1977 to 1980, he was the General Director of Prime Minister Menachem Begin's Office. From 1980 to 1981, he was the first Israeli Ambassador to Egypt. From 1996 to 1998, he was the Israeli ambassador to the United States. In 1998, he was appointed the Israeli Ambassador to France.

He died in Paris in 2000.
