Elder Avenue is an elevated station on the IRT Pelham Line of the New York City Subway. Served by the 6 train at all times, it is located at the intersection of Elder Avenue and Westchester Avenue in the Bronx.
This station has old-style signs which are covered up, and an extra exit to the mezzanine on the northbound platform. There is a good view of Pelham Bay Park-bound trains approaching from the south, crossing the Bronx River Bridge.
The station opened May 30, 1920.
