Eldar pine-tree State Reserve

The Eldar pine-tree State Reserve was established on the area of 1686 hectares of Samuh administrative region by a decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic December 16th, 2004. The reserve is mainly designed for preserving and protecting of rare and endemic species of trees-Eldar pine-tree.
In 1967 the reserve (with the area of 392 hectares) was transformed into the branch of Goy-Gol State Reserve.
