Elcoteq

Elcoteq SE is a Global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) company, which does manufacturing for Nokia, Ericsson, Thomson, RIM and other brand name companies (OEM's). Its headquarters are based in Espoo, Finland and the manufacturing takes process takes place in the following locations: Lohja, Finland; Tallinn, Estonia; Pecs, Hungary; Saint Petersburg, Russia; Beijing, Dongguan and Shenzhen, China; Bangalore, India; Monterrey and Juarez, Mexico; and Manaus, Brazil.

As of December 31, 2005, Elcoteq has 19,802 employees and the company is generating about U.S. $4 billion in annual turnover (€4.2 mil. in 2005).

On 22 December 2006 Elcoteq announced that the Elcoteq's headquarter will be transfered to Luxembourg. The transfer could take place on 1 January 2008.[1]
