Elba Ramalho

Elba Ramalho, (born on August 17, 1951 in Conceição de Piancó, Paraíba, Brazil) is a Brazilian song writer, performer, poet and actress. Elba is know for her explosive performances and to many Brazilians her energy and flamboyant personality is compared to that of Madonna and Tina Turner.
In addition to her successful solo career, Elba has collaborated with a number of well established Brazilian acts, including Alceu Valenca and her cousin Ze Ramalho who is also another legend of the Brazilian Popular Music.
