The EL/M-2082 ADAR is a three dimensional (3D) solid state active phased array L-Band Radar for Air Traffic Control and Air Defense. It is produced by Elta. It simultaneously provides high update rate and long range surveillance by implementing Electronically Steered Multi-Beam techniques (ESMB).

The ADAR, can be used either in a fixed configuration or 360° rotating configuration, and can include, in addition to the primary radar, a secondary surveillance radar (SSR) for IFF purposes. The SSR is a two dimensional (2D) azimuth monopulse array, mounted on the back of the main antenna. The SSR performs interrogation, decoding, detection and tracking.

Target information can be supplied to local operators and to remote sites via communication links.
