Ekseption

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ekseption is a Dutch progressive rock ensemble, active from 1958 to 1978 (initially with names as 'the Jokers' and 'Incrowd').

The group's early repetoire consisted of pop and r'n'b covers. Impressed by a gig of the Nice, the members, of which the most famous is Rick van der Linden, decided upon producing 'classic pop', modern reinterpretations of classical works, henceforth, resulting in the release of their most renown, self-titled album.
