[edit] Plot Summary
It is about a travel agent called Sarika (Urmila Matondkar) who meets and falls for a mysterious businessman Karan Rathod (Saif Ali Khan in his first negative role) and after he involves her in looking after a suitcase full of illegal firearms she is arrested for having links with terrorists and put in a brutal prison.
She soon realizes that Karan is actually an associate to the underworld and she was framed by him. She escapes prison and plots revenge on Karan. After numerous car chases, lies and deaths (police, gangster etcetera, etcetera) Karan is held Sarika's prisnor in a remote cave. He pleads with her to save him but she callously refuses and leaves him to the rats, who devour him without hesitation. The movie then ends mysteriously. Due to a crafty colouring technique it is impossible to distinguish Sarika's whereabouts. Is she in prison? Is she free? The credits roll. The viewers complain.
