Einstein Prize (APS)

The Einstein Prize is a prize that has been awarded every second year by the American Physical Society since 2003. The recipient is chosen for "outstanding accomplishments in the field of gravitational physics". The prize is named after Albert Einstein (1879-1955), author of the theories of special and general relativity, and as of 2007 it is valued at $10,000.
