Einar Hoidale

Einar Hoidale was a Norwegian-American politician. Born in Tromsø, Norway, he emigrated to the United States at the age of seven. As a lawyer and a businessman he became a prominent member of the community in Minnesota. He was elected to the United States House of Representatives and served from 1933 to 1935 as a Democrat. He lost a subsequent election after being nominated for the U.S. Senate.
