Eide, Aust-Agder

Eide is a former municipality in Aust-Agder county, Norway.

It was created as Eide formannskapsdistrikt in 1837, and had an area of 32,4 km², of which 29,2 km² is comprised of mainland.

On 1 January 1964 the district of Gitmarkgårdene with 22 inhabitants was incorporated into Lillesand municipality. The rest of Eide, with 504 inhabitants, became a part of Landvik municipality.
