In the small village, Forstern near Munich, in Bavaria, the first EICHER tractor was made, in the 30s, by Joseph and Albert EICHER. It's the beginning of the considerable development of Forstern and Dingolfing factories EICHER. These pioneers make several tests and carry out a patient work of clarification. The first evolution was marked by the construction of an automatice mower and a tractor in three wheels. The Brother Joseph and Albert EICHER were born and grew in an agricultural part of the country. Their personal taste for the agriculture favored the development of the ideas which to the manufacturing of machines and the modern devices. In 1949, the manufacturing of first engine of farm tractor with air cooling allowed EICHER to take rank among the most important manufacturers of tractors. During the next years, the remarkable qualities of the tractor EICHER cooled by air demonstrated themselves thousands of times.
