There are lots of private houses built in Zeytinalani, Urla, by architect Huseyin Egeli, MSc. He constructed these houses in three phases, in the third phase, there are 18 houses mainly with two storeys, these houses are surrounded by forest areas from three sides, and all of them have the view of Izmir bay, also in the first phase, there is a half-olympic swimming pool in the mid point of the entertainment area over the green grasses, at the end of the 2007, the building of the last 18 houses will be completed, all of the houses are different in plan, views, and sections, and the colors of their walls are changing, there ae lots of different cladding materials, such as stone, wood, and plasters, also the old wooden railways and the old wooden columns for electricity cables are used as the columns of the balconies of the houses, the fireplaces are having very strong effects in the space of living rooms and also in the space of bedrooms, the interaction of the spaces with nature is very high, also there are several olive trees in this construction area around the houses, the name of zeytinalani means "the area for olives", in a very past, there was a place to produce olive oil from the trees in Zeytinalani and Urla, also there is an excavation area in Urla, near the seashore, with a name of Klazomenai, --y.k.a 22:55, 8 February 2007 (UTC)y.k.a.09.02.07
