Egan Inoue is an American racquetball player who has won two world championships. He has also competed internationally in jujutsu.

At the 1986 World Racquetball Championship in Orlando, Florida, he defeated Roger Harripersad of Canada 15-2, 7-15, and 15-7. Then four years later in 1990 he won the championship again over Tim Doyle (USA) by the scores of 13-15, 15-13, and 15-5.

In 1989, Inoue had a 50 percent ownership in E-Force, a racquetball equipment company. In 1992, Inoue suffered a knee injury that sidelined him for a year. He managed to make a comeback but could not rise higher than sixth in the world’s rankings.

In 1993, he sold his stake in E-Force and returned to jujutsu.

In 1996, Inoue won the World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the blue belt division. He was the first American to win the title. Inoue has tallied an impressive 11-3 record and opened up his own grappling school located in Hawaii.

Egan also has a famous younger brother Enson Inoue, who went on to become the first ever Heavyweight Champion of the sport Shooto.
