eFolio Minnesota

Electronic portfolios are certainly not new, you have a number of examples within Wikipedia. What is different about eFolio Minnesota is that it was built around the assumption that every student and resident in the State of Minnesota can develop, maintain and display an electronic portfolio throughout their K-12, higher ed and workforce careers.

Higher education institutions, states and countries have expressed interest in our efforts. Darren Cambridge (George Mason University), Helen Barrett (http://electronicportfolios.com/) and other researchers have highlighted our work in Minnesota. See

In addition, the Higher Learning Commission's (http://www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org/) AQIP program has endorsed our efforts around eFolio Minnesota accreditation portfolios for institutions.

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, is a public agency in Minnesota that receives state, federal, and student funding. We are not a profit making enterprise. We're proud of the work done and perhaps that is what came through in the text.
