Efir 2 (Bulgarian: Ефир 2) was a Bulgarian channel, operated by the Bulgarian National Television. It was created in 1974 and stopped working on May 31, 2000. It was substituted by the private bTV on the next day. At 21:10 on May 31, 2000 Efir 2 "said Good-bye!" to the Bulgarian viewers with a film, created by Ekaterina Genova, called "Efir 2 - a photo for a memory" (Bulgarian: Ефир 2 - снимка за спомен). After this movie, Efir 2 broadcast a short news report and around 22:15 the signal of Efir 2 was switched off.
