Joe Dean was only 12 when he joined leeds football acadamey, playin centre back he knotched up the best cap record for a home grown boy in the acadamey. His first apperance in the main team came in 1992 where he partnererd Simon Addler for a record of 63 consecutive games.

His carrer saddly ended when he was in the prime and pushing for a call up into the England squad at just 23. He was playing against Everton FC and was viewed to have dived and he got sent off, he then walked off the pitch punching the linesman, he got banned for life.

He went into coaching and is now a first team coach for the Nigerian team Ozejjbairain, in the first leauge.
