[edit] Oxford, not Cambridge

The diocesan obituary wrongly stated that Bishop Knapp-Fisher had read law at Cambridge. Crockford's Clerical Directory records Oxford and this is to be taken as correct since a proof of the entry would have been sent to the bishop for his personal approval before publication. He was in holy orders for 64 years so must have appeared in at least 30 editions of Crockford. If it had been wrong it would have been corrected in that time. He was later a Chaplain at Cambridge and became a Cambridge MA, but he did his first degree at Oxford.--217.134.82.139 23:13, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
