Edwin Felix Thomas Atkinson

Edwin Felix Thomas Atkinson, (Sept. 6, 1840 , Tipperary, Ireland; d. Sept. 15, 1890, Calcutta, India) was an Irish entomologist. Atkinson was a lawyer specialising in Indian Law on which he wrote several books. He joined the Indian Civil Service in 1862. He also published a Gazetteer of Northwestern India. He died from Bright's disease.
