Edwin Evans (born March 26, 1849 in Emu Plains, New South Wales; died July 2, 1921 in Walgett) was an Australian cricketer who played in 6 Tests between 1881 and 1886.
Evans was an off spinner from New South Wales and had a reputation for being able to consistently land the ball wherever he wanted too and had some succuss in Australian first class cricket.
However when called up for the national team his accuracy deserted him and he failed to make a serious impact.
