Edward Seymour, 8th Duke of Somerset

Edward Seymour, 8th Duke of Somerset (1695 – December 15, 1757) was a British nobleman. The son of Sir Edward Seymour, 5th Baronet, a descendant of Protector Somerset by his first marriage, he succeeded his distant cousin, Algernon Seymour, 7th Duke of Somerset, as Duke of Somerset in 1750.

On March 8, 1716, he married Mary Webb and had five children:
