Edward Larrikin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Edward Larrikin, born Edward Leeson, is the lead singer of the band Larrikin Love. Although on his band's forum he claims that his real name is Liam, this is an "in joke" between him and the rest of his band, who have always tried to encourage a sense of confusion and alliteration where the names of the band members are concerned. Several friends of his have confirmed that Edward Leeson is his real name.

It is a little known fact that four years ago Edward appeared in an episode of Ross Kemp's "Ultimate Force" playing a young satanist cult leader, and his real name, Edward Leeson, appears on the credits.

He's now 20 years old. There has been quite a bit of speculation as to his sexual preferences following the release of Larrikin Love's first single Six Queens, which is about crossdressing and prostitution, however all speculation is entirely unfounded, as he has been in a long term relationship since 2003 with "Alice" who is noted to have designed all the artwork for the Larrikin Love albums and singles. He claims to have lost all interest in living in Britain and now wishes to emigrate to France. He plays many folk based instruments including the guitar, mandolin, ukelele and others. Recently he contributed vocals to friend Patrick Wolf's single Accident and Emergency.
