Edward Frederick Robert Bage

Edward Frederick Robert Bage (1888 - May 7, 1915) was an engineer in the Royal Australian Engineers. He joined the army in 1909 after graduating at university with civil engineering. After returning from the Australasian Antarctic Expedition in 1912, where he served as astronomer, recorder of times and assistant magnetician, he was commissioned to serve in World War One, and was killed only twelve days after the ANZAC landings at Gallipolli.
