Edward Carson (English politician)

Edward Carson, styled the Honourable, (17 February 1920 – 6 March 1987) was an English Conservative Party politician.
He was the son of the Lord Carson, leader of the Ulster Unionist Party. He was educated at Eton - as was his son (a barrister who lives in Henley) and two of his grandsons. He was the progeny of his father's second marriage - the first having been terminated by bereavement.
He was Member of Parliament for Isle of Thanet from 1945 until he resigned from the House of Commons in 1953
