Edsel Ford High School is a secondary school located in Dearborn, Michigan, USA. Edsel Ford, located on Rotunda, near Oakwood, is one of three high schools in the Dearborn Public Schools, part of the Dearborn City School District. Edsel Ford High School was completed in 1955, and the first graduating class was in 1956. The school was formed on the premise that every student deserves to and should be a well rounded individual when leaving high school. This idea, in the eyes of its creators, needed to be accomplished through the exploration of the arts. Now, 50 years later, the famed "Humanities" program is optional for students, and the honors English curriculum no longer includes Humanities.
