EDSA LRT Station is a station on the Manila LRT Yellow Line (LRT-1). Like all other LRT-1 stations, EDSA station station is above-ground. The station is located on Taft Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, or EDSA, one of Metro Manila's main thouroughfares. The station was named after EDSA, which in turn is named after Epifanio de los Santos, a noted historian.
The station is the second station for trains headed to Monumento and the seventeenth station for trains headed to Baclaran. Its location has already put it near many hotels and motels, with a good majority just a short distance from the station. It is near the Metropoint mall, which is popular with commuters, and the Winston Lodge, one of the many motels found on EDSA.

EDSA station is served by plenty of buses and jeepneys on both the EDSA and Taft Avenue routes, which have stops near the station. Some bus lines, such as Victory Liner, have bus terminals near the station. Traffic regulations prohibit cycle rickshaws on EDSA. Taxis also stop near the station.
The station is also the transit point for commuters riding the Manila Metro Rail Transit System, or MRT-3. EDSA station is connected to MRT-3's Taft Avenue station by a walkway embracing the Metropoint mall.
