TBC (talk contribs) I'm TBC and I'm currently not an admin, though I am interested in becoming one in the future (perhaps in two to three months) and would like to see suggestions and opinions from other Wikipedians to help me improve as an editor.--TBC 08:15, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Reviews

  • I've come across TBC twice. Firstly on WP:CJ and on VandalProof. Both times, I've found him a fantastic editor. TBC is a well balanced editor. Not excessive amounts of user talk or project edits, like me, though a good amount. I'd be happy to nom! Computerjoe's talk 16:46, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
  • I looked at the contribution page and everything looks to be written properly with NPOV, there is a large amount of serious matter on display. I have also seen TBC a lot on AfDs, and he has always been polite and courteous. I think that the Bhai Makhan Shah AfD and the discussions at the author User talk:Harisingh went well -I'm speaking as a person who said Keep immediately and got into contact with Hari about it. I think that TBC's conduct was fine, although it shows the need to write a detailed explanation on religion-AfDs. (Hari Singh was rather touchy about the article and expressed his disappointment - he believed that many of the AfD regulars, whom I take in good faith, were being -anti-Sikh, despite my assurances that they were not anti-Sikh at all). ßlηguγΣη | Have your say!!! - review me 01:26, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
  • I think you're doing a fantastic job. You've edited very well, have involved yourself well in many activities, and are unquestionably civil. -- Samir (the scope) धर्म 01:12, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
  • I had actually wanted to nominate your for RfA when I read on your talk page replies saying you would like to wait awhile. The way which you act on AfD is commendable and the manner in which everyone should attempt to have. You have shown great knowledge of Wikipedia policy there. In addition the proposals and changes you have attempted to make with CJ are great. Overall I believe you would make a great admin. SorryGuy 00:45, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I'm pleased with my work on the Food Portal, which I've helped to reach to featured status.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I haven't been in any major conflicts so far, though I have had an arguement over the Bhai Makhan Shah AfD. However, we quickly resolved this issue, as the original author agreed to clean up the article and provide citations.
