Edition Silvertrust
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Edition Silvertrust is a U.S. publisher of chamber music. Founded by R.H.R. Silvertrust, Editor of The Chamber Music Journal and President of The International Cobbett Association for Chamber Music Research.
Edition Silvertrust publishes unjustly neglected chamber music by once famous composers whose works at one time were much appreciated. Most of these works are virtually impossible to find elsewhere, have been long out of print or were never printed. For example, they produced world premiere editions of string quartets by Alberto Nepomuceno and George Chadwick. Their internet website, listed below, is unusual in that it features sound-bites from many of the works they publish.
