The Edinburgh Monarchs are a Scottish Speedway team. They currently compete in the Speedway Premier League. They ride at Armadale on Friday nights during the speedway season. The Edinburgh promotor is John Campbell and the team manager is Alan "Doc" Bridgett. They were founded in 1948 by John Hoskins. The Monarchs have only won the league championship once in their history. This triumph was in 2003.
