From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Edgeborough School is a prep school located in Farnham, Surrey in England. It is situated at Frensham Place and provides education for 350 boys and girls aged between 3 and 13. It became co-ed in 1992 and since this time, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of girls attending the school. The current headmaster is Richard Jackson.

Edgeborough is in many respects a traditional prep school with four houses (with names such as Webb and Terry), bi-weekly chapel services and Friday morning assembly, including prayers and hymns. There is a prefectorial system in which sixth formers (year 8 students, aged 12-13) may become prefects, monitors or house or sport captains. Edgeborough competes against other schools in sports such as football, rugby and hockey.

One of their old boys, Max Rowson has been accepted into the Harlequins RFC academy.

Notable alumini include Olympic gold medallist Bob Tisdall, poet Keith Douglas and actor Jeremy Sinden.
