Edgar Muñoz

Edgar Ramón Muñoz Mata (born December 22, 1983) is a boxer from Venezuela.

He participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native South American country. There he was stopped in the second round of the Light heavyweight (81 kg) division by Belarus' eventual runner-up Magomed Aripgadjiev.

Muñoz won the bronze medal in the same division one year earlier, at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo.
