Ed Williams

Ed Williams is a Southern humorist. He is best known for being the author of the books, "Sex, Dead Dogs, and Me: The Juliette Journals," and, "Rough As A Cob: More From the Juliette Journals."
Williams was born on June 19, 1956, in Forsyth, Georgia, and was raised in Juliette, Georgia. He completed Associate, Bachelor, and Master's degrees in business, and has worked in private industry for over twenty years. He bought his first home computer back in '95, and from that began the writing of some bawdy recollections of episodes regarding his Juliette upbringing. After spending approximately a year working on the stories, he attended a writer's meeting in Macon where he was by chance called upon to read some of his material. Six months later, his manuscript was purchased by Texas-based Abique Books, and his first book, "Sex, Dead Dogs, and Me," was released in 1998. The book sold well, a paperback version was subsequently released, and a sequel released in 2003 entitled, "Rough As A Cob."
Williams' books depict the South in a fun, yet revealing way. The language utilized can be relatively graphic, the situations are sometimes over the top, but always believable. Williams' work has led to an extensive public speaking appearance schedule, a column called "Free Wheelin,'" and popularity as a Southern humorist that can be verified through doing a simple Google search of the term.
Williams is currently attending to his ill father and has reportedly completed manuscripts for both a third volume of Juliette Journals and a Christmas novel.
