Edward Dennis Ryan (born on December 29, 1925 (age 81) in Banff, Alberta, Canada) is a former NFL Defensive End with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and attended college at St. Mary's College of California. In 1948, he was drafted by the Steelers 73rd overall, becoming one of the first Canadians ever drafted in the NFL. He went on to play 9 games that season, his only season in the NFL.
